Intro Post!

Hello everybody and thank you for checking out my blog! This will chronicle my journey as a Rotary exchange student in Japan!

So here's a little summary of everything I know so far:
I'm headed to Tokyo, Japan! I'll be living in Chiyoda-ku, which I'm pretty sure is near the center (for more info on Chiyoda click here). My school, according to google maps, is about a half hour away. I contacted my first host family, but all I could tell from their response was what they look like and that they have hosted before, so I don't really know much about them (they haven't written me since :( ).
I'll be hosted by the Rotary club of Tokyo-Kanda and their youth exchange chair, Sonobe-san, just contacted me today! So glad I'm finally hearing from them! He wanted to know when I'm coming, which, by the way, is August 5, although I leave on the 4th. (46 days until I leave. Wow...)

Anyways, that's about all I know so far, but I'll make sure to put any updates on here! And don't worry, there will be much more writing on here once I get to Japan...
